User Content and Moderation Rules
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Spark is an online job ad, profile discovery and contact platform. Users publish their own profiles and ads, and Spark may review reports or visible risks to keep the platform lawful, honest and safe.
1. Core rule
Content must be lawful, accurate, fair, respectful and connected to genuine work-related contact. Spark is not an employment agency, private employment mediator, recruiter or labour hire provider, and users must not describe Spark as acting in that role.
2. Prohibited content list
- Fake jobs, fake companies, fake worker profiles, impersonation or false qualifications.
- Misleading claims about pay, working time, contract type, location, remote work, permits, benefits or hiring certainty.
- Discriminatory wording or exclusion based on protected characteristics unless a specific legal exception applies.
- Undeclared work, unlawful work, unsafe work, unpaid trials disguised as real work or offers that avoid mandatory labour rules.
- Advance-fee scams, deposits, document fees, training fees, equipment fees or other payment requests connected to getting work.
- Human trafficking, exploitation, coercion, debt bondage, forced work, suspicious transport/accommodation control or document retention.
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, hate speech, degrading language or abusive contact.
- Sexual content, adult services, sexual solicitation, nudity or content involving minors in a risky or exploitative context.
- Requests for unnecessary sensitive data, ID documents, bank details, passwords or personal data before there is a lawful need.
- Phishing, malware, suspicious links, spam, fake engagement, scraping, bots or attempts to bypass platform limits.
- Copyright-infringing photos, stolen logos, unauthorised company branding or content copied from another person.
- Illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, terrorism, violent extremism or instructions for criminal activity.
- Any content that violates applicable EU, Hungarian or local law in the country where the user offers or seeks work.
3. Job ad rules
Employer profiles and job-related ads must describe a genuine work opportunity or business contact.
- Use the real company or responsible person's name.
- Describe the role, work location or remote setup, expected tasks and key conditions honestly.
- Do not guarantee hiring, income, visas, accommodation or work permits unless this is legally accurate and documented.
- Do not ask workers to pay to apply, match, be considered, get documents or access a job.
- Do not use discriminatory requirements such as age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, family status or similar unless a specific legal rule allows it.
- Do not move users to unsafe channels, suspicious payment flows or unverifiable third-party forms.
4. Worker profile rules
- Use your own profile and accurate information about skills, age, experience and availability.
- Do not post another person's personal data, photo, CV, phone number or email without permission.
- Do not claim qualifications, licences, work rights or documents you do not have.
- Do not offer illegal services, unsafe work or services unrelated to work-related contact.
5. Photo and branding rules
- Photos must be your own, licensed or used with permission.
- Do not upload identity documents, bank cards, passports, payslips or private documents.
- No nudity, sexual images, violent images or images that exploit or endanger minors.
- Company names, logos and trademarks may be used only if you are authorised to represent that company.
6. Reports and notice-and-action
Anyone can report specific content through the Report Content form or by email at support@probierensie.hu. A useful report includes the URL or profile ID, the category, a clear explanation, evidence if available, contact details and a good-faith confirmation.
If a report concerns illegal content, explain why the content may be illegal and where it appears. Spark may reject reports that are incomplete, abusive, impossible to verify or clearly unfounded.
7. Review process
Spark may review content after a user report, authority request, trusted flagger notice, support request, payment risk, security signal or its own manual review. Automated tools may be used for spam, malware, rate-limit, upload and security checks, but restrictive content decisions should receive human review where reasonably possible.
8. Possible moderation actions
- No action where the report is unfounded or the content is allowed.
- Request edits, warning or temporary hiding while the issue is reviewed.
- Remove photos, profile text, ads, links or contact information.
- Reduce visibility, disable matching, suspend Premium features or pause payments where relevant.
- Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a profile or account.
- Preserve evidence or report serious risks to authorities where required or appropriate.
9. Decision notices
When Spark removes content, restricts visibility, suspends an account or takes a similar action, Spark should tell the affected user what was decided, whether the ground was law or platform rules, the main reason, whether automated tools materially contributed and how to appeal, unless disclosure would create a safety, security or legal risk.
10. Appeals
Affected users may appeal a moderation decision through the Complaint Handling Policy. Appeals should be submitted within six months of the decision notice where possible and should explain why the decision was wrong. Spark should review appeals objectively and reverse decisions where appropriate.
11. Repeat misuse
Spark may restrict users who repeatedly post illegal or rule-breaking content, submit manifestly unfounded reports, create fake accounts or try to bypass previous restrictions. Serious illegal content, exploitation, trafficking, child-safety risks, credible threats or large-scale fraud may lead to immediate suspension.
12. Records
Spark should keep internal records of reports, review decisions, actions, appeal outcomes and response times for safety, compliance, dispute handling and transparency reporting where required.
